Operator’s Manual
For more than 13 years I’ve been a technical writer, in the fields of relational database software, avionics, and medical instrumentation. I like the challenge of taking various viewpoints–engineering, marketing, software, and technical support, among others–and distilling them into one cogent document. Heck, it even works sometimes! Whether instructing pilots how to de-ice a cargo plane or telling lab techs how to load sample test tubes, I realize there are serious consequences to what I write, and I take the role seriously.
